Information

This is a small, cozy family campsite. This is why you have to be 26 years old to make a booking.

We have our own child-friendly sandy beach, and a bathing ladder is available at our piers.
You can also bring the boat here and rent a place at our piers (pre-booking).

We have wireless Internet.

The nearest community is Hamburgsund (1.5 km). Here you will find grocery store, post office, bank, ATM, fast food, restaurants, fish shop, hairdressers, clothing stores, Pipers Ice Cream with bakery/café.

Good to know before staying with us

To camp here you must have a Camping ID (free) or Camping Key Europekort. If you do not have it, it is perfectly possible to get one at the reception. This year’s Camping Key European card costs SEK 199. More info about this card is available at www.camping.se.

Check-in for cabins and rooms takes place after 15.00, other accommodation from 13.00.
Check-out takes place before 12.00 (applies to both cabin/room, caravan/camper and tent).

Shower cards is used in the showers and for washing machines and dryers, you buy them in the reception
Booking of the laundry is done via a booking list that is there on site.
Only one car per pitch allowed. For more vehicles, parking is available for rent at the reception. Price SEK 60-80/day.

You must not be more people in the cottage/room than the number of beds, even if the child sleeps in the same bed as the adult. The only exception is children under 1 year.

Order

At the entrance and exit we have a gate system. A key per pitch/room/cabin is handed out. It is used at the entrance between 07.00 – 23.00. Thereafter, there must be no motorized traffic in the area. Please respect the rules of order that prevail here: peace and order after 24.00.

If someone needs emergency help at night, there is a telephone number on the service house’s bulletin board that goes to the staff on call.

Basic rules for Rörviks Camping, Hamburgsund

General

Camping sites operate the Camping Key Europe card system, which means that all camping guests must be in possession of the card or Camping-ID.

Booking conditions:
When booking a camping pitch/cabin/room by telephone/email, an invoice is issued and sent to the guest by email. Please check this to ensure that everything is correct. In order for the booking to be valid, the full amount must be paid within 30 days of booking. If invoices are to be sent by post, a postage fee will be added. When booking by telephone/email, a booking fee of SEK 100 will be added. If the booking is made closer to 30 days before arrival, the invoice will be sent up to 14 days before arrival, after that the booking will be paid upon arrival.
If the booking is not paid on time, it will be cancelled.
When booking online, the stay is paid for at the time of booking.

Cancellation protection can be obtained for a fee equivalent to 10% of the booking amount.

Cancellation with Cancellation Protection:
If cancellation protection has been taken out, you can cancel your stay up to and including the day of arrival at 10:00. You can also cancel your stay up to 10:00 on the same day, in which case the price for the remaining stay will be refunded and we will only keep the price for the cancellation protection, which is an additional 10% of the price for the entire booking.

Cancellation without Cancellation Protection:
If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, 90% of the rental amount will be refunded. If cancelled less than 30 days before arrival, no money will be refunded if cancelled without cancellation protection.
A booked, unpaid camping pitch will be held for the customer, unless otherwise agreed, until 18:00 on the day of arrival.

Rebooking:
If the booking was made with cancellation protection, it is possible to rebook during the current booking year. If there is a price difference between the periods, the customer will be invoiced/refunded for the difference.

Check-in times
Check-in time for cabins and rooms is 15.00.
Check-in time for camping pitches is 13.00.

Check-out times
Check-out time for camping pitch, cabins, rooms, etc. is 12:00 noon. In the event of a later check-out, the campsite reserves the right to charge an additional daily fee.

Camp site regulations
Rörviks Camping is a quiet family campsite. Therefore, we do not book any youth groups and have a 26-year age limit for camping.
We expect respect for other guests and a quiet facility between 23:00 and 7:00
Violation of the rules of order means that the guest may be rejected from the site.

Insurance
It is the responsibility of guests to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover for accidents, third party liability and loss of baggage. Checked-in guests with a valid Camping Key Europe card are covered by a special insurance against accidents on the camping site.

Payment
For bookings made with online booking, the booking is paid for at the time of booking.
For bookings made by phone/email more than 14 days before arrival, the booking must be paid by invoice according to the invoice’s due date.
For bookings made by phone/email less than 14 days before arrival, the entire booking must be paid for at check-in.

Responsibility of camping site
The camping site are responsible for damage or injury affecting guests caused by proved negligence on the part of the camping site operator or his staff incurred in the course of their duty.
The camping sites are not responsible for damage or injury affecting guests caused by other guests or other parties. Additionally, sites are not responsible for damage which is beyond their control.
