Basic rules for Rörviks Camping, Hamburgsund
General
Camping sites operate the Camping Key Europe card system, which means that all camping guests must be in possession of the card or Camping-ID.
Booking conditions for cabins and rooms
An invoice is normally sent to the guest at the time of booking. For a booking to be valid, the deposit must be paid within 10 days. The amount is 500 SEK of the total rental.
The booking fee is charged at the rate of 100 SEK for cabin, room and for caravan, camper and tent.
Cancellation protection insurance can be obtained at a charge of 200 SEK for cabins and rooms.
If guests covered by cancellation insurance have to cancel because of serious illness or accident, as confirmed by a doctor’s certificate, the deposit is returned, less booking fee (5 %, not less than 200 SEK), and less the cancellation insurance (200 SEK).
Cancellations without cancellation insurance:
For bookings cancelled more than 20 days before arrival 50 % of the total rental must be paid.
For bookings cancelled between 7-20 days 70 % of the total rental must be paid.
For bookings cancelled less than 7 days before arrival 100 % of the rental must be paid.
If a booking is not cancelled but the cabin or pitch is not claimed by the guest, the camping site has the right to demand full payment.
Bookings not paid for will be held for the guest until 18.00 on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged.

Camp site regulations
Camping sites in Sweden operate the basic regulations accepted by all the Nordic camping organisations. Local rules may also apply covering, for instance, the siting of pitches, car parking, the use of electric cables, waste-tank disposal, or other requirements imposed by the local authorities. Breaches of the regulations can mean that the guest is asked to leave the camping site.
Insurance
It is the responsibility of guests to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover for accidents, third party liability and loss of baggage. Checked-in guests with a valid Camping Key Europe card are covered by a special insurance against accidents on the camping site.
Payment for camping pitches
Guests who check in at the site pay at arrival. However, guests may be asked to pay booking fees and rental in advance.
Payment in advance is normally requested for cabins and rooms.
Responsibility of camping sites
Camping sites are responsible for damage or injury affecting guests caused by proved negligence on the part of the camping site operator or his staff incurred in the course of their duty.
Camping sites are not responsible for damage or injury affecting guests caused by other guests or other parties. Additionally, sites are not responsible for damage which is beyond their control.
